All <br />work to be done in accordance with the Lead-based Paint Inspection/Risk Assessment <br />Report conducted by Carolina Environmental, Inc. and dated June 28, 2006. <br />I. WORKSITE PREPARATION <br />A. GROUND CONTAINMENT <br />Before exterior construction, construct a work site perimeter curb of <br />2x4 timbers ten (10) feet from the house exterior. Create an outer <br />barrier of flags and/or plastic tape three (3) feet on center and twenty <br />(20) feet from the worksite. Post proper signage in the work area. All <br />.warning signs must remain posted until clearance is passed. <br />2. During the period of work on all exterior components attach one Iayer <br />of 6-mil polyethylene to the building exterior with furring strips, <br />extending the (10) feet past the work site. Wrap the plastic under the <br />perimeter 2x4's. Change the plastic daily. <br />B. PRE-CLEAN <br />1. Pre-clean the interior of the unit in all areas that Lead Paint was <br />disturbed. HEPA vacuum all horizontal surfaces, to include all floors, <br />windowsills, troughs, baseboards and casing. <br />C. CLEARANCE EXAMINATION <br />1. After completion of all work that disturbed LBP and any other lead <br />hazard, reduction activities, a qualified person shall perform a <br />clearance examination.
