EXTERIOR PAINTING <br />1. <br />Fully prepare existing dormer siding, gable vents, soffits, frieze boards, rake eaves, rear c <br />paint. Finish paint shall provide sufficient coverage to prevent previous <br />colors from showing through. Protect glass, masonry, concrete, roof <br />coverings, vegetation and personal possessions with appropriate temporary <br />coverings and enclost~res.$ <br />L. STORAGE ROOM <br />1. Remove existing storage room door panel and door stop, remaining frame <br />and casing to remain intact. Prepare opening to maintain existing head <br />height and door swing, accommodate extension of new landing <br />approximately 4" into door opening, and accommodate installation of new <br />exterior door panel, door stop and door threshold. Supply and install new <br />door panel, door stop and door threshold. Includes all hardware and new <br />keyed lockset, complete. Where exterior wood frame, trim and sill are <br />exposed, supply and install pre-finished white aluminum coil stock to <br />cover exposed wood components, including wood spacers to create <br />uniform surfaces. <br /> <br />2. Remove approximately 2 l.f. of damaged sill adjacent to storage room <br />door and approximately 18 l.f. of damaged siding on exterior of storage <br />room. Replace sill and siding with treated wood, plane of exterior surface <br />of siding to match existing. Supply and install new fascia on rear of <br />storage room, primed with oil-based primer. <br />M. GENERAL REPAIRS <br />1. Remove existing tread surface brick from three steps at front porch. <br />Prepare footing/base to accommodate installation of new tread surface <br />brick to match existing rise and run. Supply and install new brick and <br />mortar tread surface brick on the three steps and restore to proper working <br />order, complete.
