4os <br />Further discussion ensued concerning using the seal on Ccunty <br />cars. <br />The Chairman called for the vote. <br />All members of the Board voted aye. <br />The motion was declared passed. <br />The Chairman referred to Item IV on the Agenda: Mr. W. C. Ray <br />will make a report describing the progress made towards constructing <br />a Medical Clinic in the Hillsborough area by the Orange County Medical <br />Foundation. <br />Mrs. Garrett recognized Mr. Ray who stated that the Foundation <br />had obtained a $240,000 loan from FHA provided that the Foundation can <br />raise locally $60,000. Through various campaigns and programs, the <br />Foundation has already raised about one-half of the $60,000. The cam- <br />paign will be completed June 30, 1976. <br />The Chairman wished the Foundation success .in their efforts and <br />thanked Mr. Ray for appearing before the Board. <br />The next item for discussion was Plats (Preliminary Plats) <br />A. Paul L1o~ - Two tracts each two acres or more in size are <br />being cut from a larger parcel. Each tract created has frontage <br />on State Road #1104. This property is situated in Chapel Hill <br />Township near Hickory Grove Church. This preliminary plat re- <br />reived unanimous approval of the Orange County Planning Board <br />at its April 19th meeting. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Walker, seconded by Commissioner <br />Pinney, it was moved and unanimously adopted to approve the prelimi- <br />nary plat for Paul Lloyd. <br />B. Clearwater Hills Subdivision - This proposed subdivision <br />would contain five lots each between two and three acres in <br />size and fronting on State Road #1918. This proposed plan <br />received the unanimous approval of the Orange County Planning <br />Board at it April 19th meeting. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commmssioner <br />Gustaveson, it was moved and unanimously adopted to approve the pre- <br />liminary plat of Clearwater Hills Subdivision. <br />C. Willard Mitchell - This proposed subdivision would contain <br />six lots, five of which would be one acre in size each and the <br />sixth to be six acres in size. The larger lot. and one of the <br />smaller lots would be accessed by a private road. The four <br />remaining lots would front on State Road #1562. The property is <br />situated in Eno Township. This proposal received the unanimous <br />approval of the Orange County Planning Board on April 19. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gustaveson, seconded by Commissioner <br />whitted, it was moved and unanimously adopted to approve the prelimi- <br />nary plat of Willard Mitchell. <br />D. Kenneth Putnam - The owner proposed division of a one acre <br />lot from a seven acre tract. Access to this lot would be by <br />private road. This property is situated near Homestead Road in <br />Chapel Hill Township. This plat received unanimous approval of <br />the Orange County Planning Board on April 19th. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner <br />Whitted, it was moved and unanimously adopted to approve the final plat <br />of Kenneth Putnam. <br />E. Perr Perr and Cates - The owners propose to create four <br />lots, each between four and five acres in size, from a larger par- <br />cel. Access to the property would be by private road. This pro- <br />perty is situated in Chapel Hill Township near Blackwood Station <br />and is just off State Road 1725. <br />Commissioner Walker moved that this plat be approved subject to <br />the owners securing a maintenance agreement for the road. This motion <br />died for lack of a second. The Board of Commissioners agreed <br />
