Vote: ayes, 4; noes, 0. <br />Commissioner Walker was out of the room at the time of the vote. <br />The Chairman directed the Clerk to contact the Maintenance Garage <br />concerning the overgrown condition existing in the right-of-ways. <br />Agenda Item 9: Transfer of part of the Northside Site <br />Upon the recommendation of the County Attorney, it was the consensus <br />of the Board to table discussion of a proposal to transfer certain real <br />estate to the Chapel Hill Housing Authority. <br />Agenda Ttems 10 - 11: Bid Results <br />The Manager submitted the following bid results: <br />BID <br />FOLDING TABLES AND CHAIRS <br />October 9, 1979 <br />Carolina Triangle <br />Alternative A: 192 upholstered <br />chairs without padding; 28 <br />tables 3,934.60 3,752.73 <br />Alternative B: 192 upholstered <br />chairs with padding; 28 <br />tables no bid 3,892..51 <br />Recommendation: Accept Triangle Office Equipment's bid of $3,892.51 for <br />folding tables and chairs with 1" polyfoam padding. <br />Commissioner Walker moved, seconded by Commissioner Barnes, to <br />approve the staff's recommendation to accept the bid of Triangle Office <br />Supply ($3,892.51) for 192 chairs and 23 tables for the nutrition program. <br />~1ote: ayes, 5; noes, 0. <br />Agenda Item 12: Emergency Medical Services <br />The Chairman reviewed some of the discussion from the Board's special <br />meeting concerning the County's emergency medical services. The Chairman <br />suggested retaining the services of Mrs. Flora Garrett to assist the Board <br />with information needed to study ways of improving emergency medical services. <br />-4- <br />
