<br />RECOMMENDATC~N~S}: The I~lanager recommends that the Board:
<br />~ } Receive the attached "Grange County Jail HVAC System Upgrade -Life Cycle Cost
<br />Analysis";
<br />2} Exempt this project from the qualif cation base selection process for engineering services
<br />as allowed by NCGS X43-64.32;
<br />3} Authorize a contract with Southern Piping in the amount of $45,929 for replacement of
<br />the jail chiller;
<br />4 Authorize the Purchasin Director to execute a contract with Reece Noland & McElrath,
<br />} g
<br />Inc. in the amount of $54,OOD for provision of professional engineering services for
<br />desi n of a replacement HVAC system far the Grange County Jail in accordance with the
<br />g
<br />attached proposal; and
<br />5} Authorize the Purchasing Director to execute a contract with Reece Noland & McElrath,
<br />Inc. in the amount of $8,000 for provision of professional engineering services for
<br />erfiarmance of an existing building code review in accordance with the attached
<br />p
<br />proposal. •
