349 <br />(1) That a private road be allowed and (2) That the private road not <br />be required to meet minimum state standards. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved that the J. C. Garrett plat be approved. <br />The Chairman called for the vote. Voting aye were Commissioners <br />Pinney, Walker and Whitted. <br />Voting nay was Commissioner Garrett. Commissioner Gustaveson <br />abstained from voting and is recorded .as voting aye. <br />Chairman Garrett declared the motion passed. <br />Plat of Fred Hazard - <br />This property is in Chapel Hill Township and is a part of the <br />Acres of New Hope Subdi~isian. The plat effects the division of a <br />15 acre parcel into three units of approximately five acres each. <br />The Planning Board unanimously approved this plat with a variance to <br />waive paving of 1,900 feet of Chyenne Drive because of the financial <br />hardship involved. The Planning Staff will provide additional details <br />of the problem this plat presents at the Commissioners meeting on <br />the first Monday in April. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gustaveson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Pinney, it was moved and adopted that action on this plat be deferred <br />pending investigation of the closing of Chyenne Drive as a public road. <br />Timberline - Consideration of this plat was deferred at the <br />February meeting of the Board of Commissioners pending additional study. <br />The Planning staff will report the results of this study. <br />Mr. Edwards informed the Board that the following recommendations <br />must be submitted and that the final plat must reflect these recom- <br />mendations. <br />1. Each lot must be tested by the Health Department, with four <br />perk holes per lot, and these results. will be given to the <br />Planning Department for review. <br />2. A written statement from a qualified soil scientest, delineat- <br />ing areas with problem soils and his subsequent recommendations <br />will be submitted to the Planning Department. <br />3.
