.`~ 30 <br />BUDGET RRDINANCE <br />AMENDMENT <br />The 1976-76 Budget Ordinance of Orange County as adopted on June <br />18, 1975, and subsequently amended, is hereby amended as follows: <br />Change the appropriation for the following line items in the funds <br />indicated: <br />Fund - Item Increase To Total <br />General: (Decrease) <br />Bi Centennial Commission 1,025 1,275 <br />Contingency (1,02.5) 260,811 <br />Change the revenues and fund balances estimated to be available to <br />meet the foregoing appropriations in the funds indicated: <br />Fund - Resource <br />Increase <br />(Decrease) <br />To Total <br />Adopted this the 17th day of February, 1976. <br />The Chairman referred to Item V - East Orange Fire District <br />The County Manager advised the Board that the East Orange Fire <br />District wished to make application for qualification of a Fire <br />Department undex' the provisions of a Resolution that needs to be <br />adopted by the Board of Commissioners for the purpose of securing an <br />insurance rating for all properties located within the fire distract. <br />"Application is hereby made by the Eno Volunteer Fire Department <br />for qualification under the provisions of a Resolution adopted by the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Orange County, on March 20, 1975, the <br />same being a Resolution Providing fox the Qualification of Fire Depart- <br />ments and Establishment of a County Fire Commission. <br />The Eno Volunteer Fire Department hereby agrees to provide fire <br />protection in the East Orange Fire District and furthermore agrees to <br />meet all the standards and comply with a11_ the provisions set forth in <br />the aforesaid Resolution as consideration for qualification herein <br />applied far. <br />In witness Whereof the Eno Volunteer Fire Department, pursuant <br />to a'Res.olution adopted by its Board of Directors or Governing Sody an <br />December 9, 1975, has caused this application to be duly executed in its <br />name by the undersigned officers. <br />Attest: /s/ Peggy Wilson <br />Secretary <br />By: /$/ Babe D. " <br />+7kiitted, it was moved and adopted that the foregoing Resolution and Map <br />of the East Orange Fire District be approved. <br />Item VI: Appointments was the next item for discussion. <br />A. Extension Advisory Board <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Gustaveson, <br />it was moved and adopted that Lewis Crabtree, Mrs. Carl Walker, Mrs. <br />Thomas Torain, and Mr. Paul McAllister be appointed as members of the <br />Orange County Extension Advisory Board for terms effective immediately <br />and expiring January 1, 1970. <br />
