Outside Agencies <br /> County Manager Recommendations <br /> Funding Synopsis <br /> • The County received 51 funding applications. <br /> • The County Manager recommended funding for 43 agencies in FY 2009-10. The <br /> recommendation totaled $1 ,043,732. The FY 2008-09 appropriation was $1 ,155,013. <br /> • Four new agencies have been recommended for funding: <br /> a El Futuro <br /> N Chapel Hill-Carrboro Meals on Wheels <br /> ■ Housing for New Hope <br /> a Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers (TROSA) <br /> • The Manager designated 13 "safety net" agencies to receive the same funding appropriated <br /> in FY 200809. The new agencies received a portion of their request, with the exception of <br /> Chapel Hill-Carrboro Meals on Wheels.
