The agency <br /> also provides bilingual care to a grooving Spanish-speaking population. <br /> Piedmont Wildlife center $17,000 <br /> This agency's mission is to support native North American wildlife and its habitat through <br /> rehabilitation, education, and scientific study, with emphasis given to wildlife and wilderness of <br /> the North Carolina' Piedmont. Piedmont Wildlife center takes in sick, injured, and orphaned <br /> native North American wildlife with the intent of returning them in a healthy condition to their <br /> original habitat. Program participants receive twelve months intensive supervision, during which.time <br /> they are required to pay program fees and to be employed or in school, support themselves and <br /> any dependents, participate in drug counseling, have no further criminal charges and be drug <br /> free. At successful completion of the program, the court charges are dismissed. <br /> Rape crisis center $23,000 <br /> The orange county Rape crisis Center works to stop sexual violence and its impact through <br /> support, education, and advocacy.
