<br />pay expenses incurred in the noinial course of business including power, water, leases, rents, <br />facilities maintenance, and related costs. These expenses are calculated at $3,000 per year and <br />total $9,000. <br />Indirect costs are charged at 22% as per the RFA. Orange Co. recognizes that it will have to enter <br />into a negotiated rate with the federal government if this project is funded. The multiplier used to <br />calculated indirect costs from total project costs is 0.282 and the resulting indirect cost is <br />$73,971. This indirect cost will be waived by Orange Co. and used as an offset cost share/match <br />(toward the 25%) required by the RFA.
