Review of Final Task Force's Historic Rogers Road Area Delineation Map for
Recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners
Moses Carey Expressed concern over the small number of members present at the
meeting. Reviewed materials handed out for the meeting: Color coded Map of the
Historic Rogers Road Planning Area, minutes of the July 17 community meeting, an
agenda for the current meeting and a Revised interim Report with revisions
recommended at the last meeting and the list of the combined recommended
enhancements from the Community Meeting of June 17, 2007, the Neighborhood
Working Group of 1997 and the Breakout Session of June 2007.
Referring to the agenda noted that the first item is the Review of Final Task Force's
Historic Rogers Road Area Delineation Map for Recommendation to the Board of
County Commissioners. He expressed
the importance of the area to the community.
He asked if there was a consensus of the group that the map be forwarded to the Board of
County Commissioners as the focus of this study area.
Neloa Jones said she was confused about why the Green Tract was included in the study
area because no one lived in that area.
Moses Carey stated that all areas that weren't lived on could not be excluded from the
Task Force's Study. He reminded the group that they were to make recommendations
