26 <br />B. J. C. Garrett: (Planning Board approved this plat on July <br />21, 1975): <br />The Board was informed by Mr. Edward's that Mr. Garrett had requested <br />a variance on pavement. <br />Discussion ensued relative to the paving of roads in subdivisions. <br />The County Attorney and Chris Edwards were instructed to prepare <br />proposed amendments of Zoning Ordinance to be presented at the Public <br />Hearing concerning minor subdivisions and paving of streets and ease- <br />ments. Mr. Edwards in to return to the County Commissioners before the <br />Public Hearing to review the suggested amendments. - <br />The matter of Mr. Garrett was deferred until the third Tuesday of <br />August. <br />C. Cedar Hills Subdivision: (The Planning Board approved the pre- <br />liminary plat on July 21, 1975 - This plat was referred to the <br />Chapel Hill Planning Department. This Department made sixteen <br />comments concerning the plat. The County Planning Board concurred <br />with fourteen'of these comments.) <br />Recommendations made by the Chapel Hill Planning Department were dis- <br />tributed. Mr. Edwards stated that the County Planning Department con- <br />curred with fourteen of the recommendatidns. The County Planning Department <br />request that Number 4 and 15 be omitted and Number 7 be changed to read <br />"Homeowner" instead of developer. The County Planning Department also <br />recommend that Number 11 be approved by the State. <br />Item #6 - Chapel Hill is to send a letter stating that they will pro- <br />vide water and a way of accessment from Saddle Ridge Road within 60 <br />days. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved and adopted that the Board approve the preliminary plat for <br />Cedar Hills subject to'ihe fourteen stipulations set out. <br />Vote: Ayes 4; Nay 0. <br />Chairman Garrett deferred from the Agenda to review the Chi Plat <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved and adopted that the Chi plat be approved. <br />D. Rufus Farrington: (The Planning Board approved the Final Plat on <br />July 21, 1975 - This is a minor subdivision.) <br />Mr. Edwards stated that this property was located on SR #1939 and <br />that a perk test is not required. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Whitted, <br />it was moved and adopted that the Farrington Plat be'approved. <br />Commissioner Walker left the meting at this point. <br />E. Vann Evans: (The Planning Board approved this plat on July <br />21, 1975. This is a minor subdivision.) <br />n <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Pinney, seconded by Commissioner Whined, <br />it was moved and adopted that the Evans Flat be approved. <br />F. A. J. Altemueller: (The Planning Board approved this Plat on <br />July 21, 1975. This is a minor subdivision.) <br />Mr. Edwards stated that a 60 feet easement is to be retained for <br />future extension of Weaver Dairy Road. <br />Upan motion of Commissioner Whitted, seconded by Commissioner Pinney, <br />it was moved and adopted that the Altemueller Plat be approved. <br />G. James T. Farrington: (The Planning Board approved this plat on <br />July 21, 1975.) <br />
