A site visit of the subject residential structure was <br />performed earlier today to assist with the preparation of this proposal. <br />Understanding of the Scope of Work <br />It is RB Engineering, Inc.'s understanding that the engineering services to be included in this <br />assignment will generally include: <br />• Perform a site inspection to determine a structurally adequate porch repair to meet <br />project objectives. <br />• Prepare a proposed structural repair plan. <br />The following items are specifically excluded from our anticipated scope of work and this <br />engineering proposal: soil excavation and/or testing, construction inspection services, and project <br />management. <br />Labor & Expenses <br />Our lump sum fee for consulting structural engineering to prepare repair plans and project <br />specifications in accordance with this proposal is $1,200. <br />Invoicing of engineering labor and expenses for engineering reviews on this assignment will <br />occur on the following basis: <br />• 100% due upon the completion of the design and submittal of the project deliverables. <br />Thank you again for the opportunity to submit this proposal.
