The National Trust for Historic Preservation has designated May as <br />Historic Preservation Month. Please join the Historical Foundation of <br />Hillsborough & Orange County, and the Orange County Historic <br />Preservation Commission in promoting preservation <br />by participating in "Photography Competition 2009" <br />Our theme this year is "Old Barns, Sheds & Outbuildings" <br />Corn Crib <br />ELIGIBILITY, RULES & REGULATIONS <br />This competition is open to junior, amateur and professional <br />photographers. A Junior photographer is anyone 18 years of age or <br />under. Professionals are individuals earning more than 40% of their <br />income from the sale, production or publication of photographs. <br />You may submit photographs whether you live within or outside of <br />Orange County, yet, photographs must be of sites in Orange County. <br />Competition officials and their immediate families are ineligible to <br />enter. <br />Prize-winning entries from previous Orange County Historical Museum <br />competitions are ineligible. <br />~ -. <br />The Orange County Historical Museum, at 201 North Churton Street, <br />Hillsborough, will accept entries beginning Wednesday, April 1st. <br />All entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 30th, at 4:OOpm. <br />Photography and editing must be performed by the entrant. <br />The Competition is open to all; yet, images must be of sites within the <br />municipalities and unincorporated rural areas of the Orange County. <br />Photographs must be ready to hang-i.e., matted or framed, labeled <br />with title, your name and contact information.
