29 <br />DEVELOPMENT OF A SOLAR CLUSTER IN ORANGE COUNTY April 13, 2009 <br />Orange County Economic Development Commission <br />becoming more affordable. While the building blocks are in place, we need to continue <br />the development of a solar cluster to create the economy that will sustain Orange County <br />by the following actions: <br />• Decide if incentives will be utilized to recruit potential solar businesses; <br />• Ensure the Economic Development District (EDD) infrastructure is in <br />place to support growth ; <br />• Continue supporting DTCC in development of asolar-focused curriculum <br />on the Orange County DTCC campus; <br />• Ensure that government officials publicly communicate their support for <br />development of a solar cluster; and <br />• Support solar businesses located in Orange County by utilizing their <br />services as possible in government operations. <br />For EDC use only 23 <br />
