ELIBILITY <br />Applicant <br />North Carolina's coordinated approach to service delivery currently allows only a single applicant (sub- <br />recipient) for CTP funding within a county or group of counties. Applicants must maintain a minimum <br />level of coordinated transportation services to be eligible to receive public transportation assistance <br />through the CTP program. The minimum level must be illustrated beyond vehicle sharing unless <br />documented local conditions Flearlyprnhibits greater coordinating opportunities_ Each transportation_ ____.--- oeietee': <br />system will have a Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) approved by the applicant's governing body. <br />The approved TAB should consist of representatives from the following populations <br />.Cuwweeted numher by eatenorv <br />3-4 1-2 4-S 4-5 <br />Public Human r Public and Business Governmental and Quasi- - <br /> <br />:Service A' env Private Sector <br />Sectors <br />Governmental A envies <br />^ Aging Private Private MPO <br />^ DSS transportation Transit user RPO <br />^ Vocational providers Racial minority Non-Profit organizations <br />Rehabilitation Intercity bus Ethnic minority Economic Development <br /> providers Working citizen Employment Security Commission <br /> Retired citizen Job Link and/or Career Centers <br /> ^ Faith based <br /> Communit <br /> Business <br /> ^ Chamber of <br /> Commerce <br /> ^ Major employers <br /> ^ Service sector <br /> em to ers <br />NOTES <br />^ PTD expect, at a minimum, quarterly TAB meetings for the community transportation system to <br />maintain ongoing communications as one means of seeking public involvement, and ongoing <br />administrative oversight <br />^ If the organization serves as an "umbrella" agency for programs in addition to transportation services, <br />then the Executive or Governing Board may not serve as the Transportation Advisory Board. There <br />may be overlapping of members from the Executive or Governing Board, but there must be a separate <br />Transportation Advisory Board <br />
