Y�l✓ <br />-582 <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />gat <br />9e1T Planning Department <br />Program Statement, The Orange County Planning Department will function <br />administratively, through the direction of the Planning Board, the County <br />Commissioners, and the County Manager, to help coordinate information, programs <br />and resources at various governmental and agency levels. Such activities <br />should aid in the formulation of realistic, efficient, and effective management <br />and policy decisions. <br />Changes a progrcrn goals, activities, and level of appropriations with expfaination = <br />The Orange County Planning Department currently functions as a maintenance - <br />regulatory agency: enforcing various county and state ordinances. <br />I. The Ma'or Goal of the De artment is to become a comprehensive problem - potential <br />seeking agency with a built -in, continuing capability to help coordinate <br />resources to solve problems and relize potentials.
