`5'76 ORANGE COUNTY <br />Annual Surtat <br />1975 -73 <br />DEPARTMENT: Jail <br />Program Statement► The jail is to provide facilities for short term detention <br />of prisoners, particularly those pending court action. <br />i <br />Changes in program gaols, activities, and level of appropriations with exp ?aination ► <br />An additional sum of 8,000 is included for one -half back payment to N. C. <br />Department of Corrections for detention of prisoners for whom the County has been <br />determined responsible.
