'1.® Sunnme~~ty ®~ '~~ Itvv~sT'~~-~r~®na CTIV6'~'IES <br />The following activities have been completed in conjunction with the evaluation of the West 54 <br />sites (Site 056 and Site 759). <br />^ County obtained right of entry to the West 54 LLC property (Site 056) from Owner. <br />^ The County Soil and Erosion Control Division conducted a Surface Water Identification <br />Determination (SWID) for the West 54 LLC property (January 16, 2009). <br />^ An Environmental Assessment (EA) was prepared for the West 54 LLC property. This <br />document was prepared in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Administra- <br />tion's standardized guidelines for the development of an Environmental Assessment <br />complying with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). <br />• EA documents were submitted to the County Planning and Inspections Depart- <br />ment for review and submittal to the State Environmental Review Clearinghouse <br />(SCH) on February 17, 2009. The SCH manages the review and notification <br />process. <br />• The County Planning Department submitted the document to the SCH on <br />February 19, 2009. The EA included the findings from the County's SWID, <br />dated January 16, 2009. <br />SCH published the availability of the document and circulated it to state/local <br />agencies and the public fora 30-day review and comment period. The comment <br />period ran from February 20, 2009 to March 20, 2009. <br />• After the 30-day period, the SCH considers the comments received and provides <br />the information to County Planning Staff. SCH received comments from the <br />following agencies and members of the public: <br />1. North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources <br />(NCDENR): Division of Natural Resources Planning and Conservation: <br />NC Natural Heritage Program; <br />2. NCDENR: Division of Water Quality: Basinwide Planning Unit and <br />SEPA Program; <br />3. North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission: Habitat Conservation <br />Program <br />4.
