Secondary amendments include: <br />a) The expansion of an activity node where the additional area is <br />contiguous to an existing node and does not increase its land area <br />by more than ten (10) acres; <br />b) The expansion of a designated plan area where the additional area <br />is contiguous to the existing plan designation and does not increase <br />its land area by more than one hundred (100) acres; <br />c) A correction of an error or omission; or <br />d) Revisions to any factual or descriptive material <br />*2.2.14.3 Consideration of Amendments <br />*Amended <br />8/3/82 <br />OFd4naRGe. <br />Principal amendments shall generally only be considered once each year <br />at the quarterly public hearing in February; provided, however, if a <br />principal amendment is scheduled by the Board of Commissioners for <br />other than the February public hearing, it shall be scheduled during one of <br />the quarterly public hearings held in May, August, and November. <br />Secondary amendments may be considered four (4) times each year at <br />the quarterly joint public hearings in February, May, August, and <br />November. <br />Ne A proposed amendment is-te may be <br />considered in conjunction with a rezoning, planned developMORt OF SpeGial <br />use Pe request for the same property if the requests are in compliance <br />with an adopted small area plan. For amendments hit gm, <br />Requests for a rezoning not in <br />compliance with an adopted small area plan, planned development and /or <br />special use permit may only be considered at subsequent hearings or <br />meetings following approval of the proposed amendment to the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />2.2.14.4 Application for Amendment to Adopted Comprehensive Plan <br />All applications for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan shall be in <br />writing and signed. Three copies shall be filed with the Planning Director. <br />Before accepting any amendment application the Planning Director shall <br />ensure that it contains all required information as specified in this <br />ordinance. Applications which are not complete or otherwise do not <br />comply with the provisions of this ordinance shall not be accepted by the <br />OJ <br />
