r <br />2 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: ERCD proposes requesting $500,000 (the maximum amount) in <br />PARTF grant funds, which would be matched by at least $500,000 from the 2001 Open <br />Space and Park Bond. The bond allocated $850,000 million for this new park, of which <br />$132,000 has been obligated to date for new playground equipment, site surveys, and <br />engineering/ design services, leaving $718,000 available for future construction. The <br />PARTF grant program requires at least adollar-for-dollar match. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the <br />submittal of an application to the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund and authorize the Chair <br />to sign the application for submittal prior to the January 31, 2008 deadline. <br />• <br />• <br />
