We would like for Orange County to formally <br />acknowledge a revised schedule for the project to Tune 30, 2008. The original <br />contract expired on September 30, 2007. Due to (A) the work starting in late January of <br />2007 rather than the fall of 2006 as was initially expected; (B) delays incurred by <br />considering multiple program design options and concomitant reviews by legal staff; and <br />(C) the desire of the Joint Advisory Board to extend the review process, the extension is <br />warranted. No cost change is proposed under this item. • <br />(2) Proposed Contract. The joint Advisory Board (7AB) has requested additional <br />opportunities for internal and external coordination. We would like for Orange <br />County to consider these adjustments prepared in response to the issues and concerns <br />raised by the JAB. The additional public and internal engagement methods are identified <br />specifically in Attachment (A), and are shown as modifications to the current wntract in <br />Attachment (B). This change would, if all five additional items are adopted, incur a contract <br />cost change of an additional $12,583.
