~`~ <br /> <br />on that certain plat of survey titled "Final Plat , <br />Property Surveyed for Orange County," prepared by ,which <br />plat of survey is recorded at Plat Book _, Page _, Orange County Registry. <br />The Properly contains surface waters of importance to Grantors, Grantees, the people of <br />C~ <br />Orange County and the people of North Carolina. At least one stream on the Property flows <br />generally north to the South Fork Little River, which flows into the Neuse River and into water <br />supply reservoirs for the cities of Durham and Raleigh, and, via interconnection agreements with <br />Hillsborough and the Orange Water and Sewer Authority, such stream(s) contribute(s) drinking <br />water to the people of Orange County. The Property is located in the Little River Watershed, <br />which watershed is protected by Orange County land use regulations. Furthermore, the Property <br />contains notable natural scenic and open qualities that can be enjoyed by the general public, <br />namely the views along Schley Road and Mincey Road. <br />It is the purpose of this Conservation Easement to preserve, maintain and protect the <br />• <br />water features on the Property, the quality of the water flowing in those water features and the <br />natural scenic and open qualities of the Property. <br />Page 2 of 22 <br />
