DENR Contract Number 1922 <br />I. Servicing Agency will notify the Recipient Agency when the person employed as <br />the Director of Orange County Department of Emergency Services has changed <br />so that this AGREEMENT may be updated to reflect such change. <br />J. Servicing Agency's responsibilities under this Agreement shall be limited in all <br />respects to providing the services and responsibilities asestablished herein within <br />Orange County. Nothing contained within this Agreement shall require the <br />Servicing Agency to provide emergency medical services, firefighting, search and <br />rescue, and law enforcement assistance or provide radio based communication <br />services in or to any county other than Orange County. <br />IV. RESPONSIBILITIES OF RECIPIENT AGENCY <br />The Recipient Agency hereby agrees to the following responsibilities: <br />A. Provide Orange County Communications Center with a mobile base radio unit <br />(Kenwood TK-790) and all. necessary equipment for its operation at Recipient <br />Agency's sole cost and expense. <br />B. Provide the installation of the unit and its associated features/equipment by the <br />North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation Radio Engineer or qualified and <br />licensed technician selected by the Eno River State Park and agreed upon by the <br />Servicing Agency at no cost to the Servicing Agency. <br />The Servicing Agency has the option, upon providing notice to the Recipient <br />Agency contemporaneously with the execution of this Agreement, to utilize its <br />own staff for the installation of the base radio unit. Recipient Agency hereby <br />agrees to pay Servicing Agency for the reasonable costs of such installation, <br />which such costs shall be disclosed to Recipient Agency in advance. <br />C. Provide all necessary repairs, adjustments, equipment modifications and/or <br />channel additions and deletions to the base radio unit per written request by the <br />Servicing Agency to the Recipient Agency to be completed by the NC Division of <br />Parks and Recreation Radio Engineer or other qualified and licensed technician <br />selected by the Eno River State Park and agreed upon by the Servicing Agency at <br />no cost to the Servicing Agency unless needed as a direct result of negligence by <br />the Servicing Agency or its employees. <br />D. Provide any necessary training, at no cost, for the use of the mobile base radio <br />unit to the Servicing Agency. <br />E. Provide the Servicing Agency a current and correct list of emergency contact <br />information for the Eno River State Park and its staff on a minimum annual basis <br />and more frequently to reflect staff and contact information changes. <br />3 <br />
