DENR Contract Number 1922 <br />A. Allowing the Recipient Agency to install a mobile base radio unit for the purpose <br />of interagency communication in a location appointed and approved by Servicing <br />Agency where access can be made by dispatchers without delay or obstruction. <br />[Park Channel 1 -repeater (RX 159.420 with PL tone of 131.8 and TX 151.295 <br />with PL tone of 131.8) and talk-around Channel 2 (RX 159.420 with PL tone of <br />131.8 and TX 159.420 with PL tone of 131.8)] <br />B. Advising all dispatchers of the location of the radio unit; its intended use; the <br />proper procedures for the use of the radio unit; and Eno River State Park staff <br />contact information. <br />C. Following contact of the Servicing Agency by the Recipient Agency by <br />telecommunications or through the Orange County Fire Channel by approved Eno <br />River State Park staff to request monitoring of the mobile base radio unit, the <br />dispatcher will activate the mobile base radio unit as soon as practical with <br />consideration to priority needs and respond as such by communicating <br />acknowledgment by radio unit on Park Channel 1. <br />D. Servicing Agency shall not, and is not required by this Agreement, to monitor or <br />maintain the mobile base radio unit, unless contacted by Eno River State Park <br />staff. <br />E. Servicing Agency will provide communications and assistance necessary as <br />outlined in the Purpose section of this Agreement from Orange County <br />Communications: DCUNCIC Service, EMS unit(s) dispatch request, Technical <br />Rescue unit(s), Fire unit(s) dispatch request, Search and Rescue unit(s), Law <br />Enforcement unit(s) dispatch request and HAZMAT unit(s) dispatch request. <br />F. Servicing Agency will not make any adjustments, repairs, equipment <br />modifications and/or channel additions and deletions to the base radio unit <br />without submitting a written request to Recipient Agency and without receiving <br />written approval by Recipient Agency for any such adjustments, repairs, etc. <br />G. Servicing Agency will follow all FCC guidelines regarding traffic transmitted on <br />all channels on mobile base unit radio. If "10 Codes" must be abandoned due to <br />discrepancy in the agency's assignments of codes (or any other reason), <br />professional language will be used until confirmation is received from the <br />Recipient Agency that the Recipient Agency has a secure radio unit. <br />H. Servicing Agency will permit Recipient Agency to conduct quarterly equipment <br />inspections on site (Orange County Communications Center) of the mobile base <br />radio unit within two weeks of notification of need to conduct inspection. <br />2 <br />
