395E <br />property within the Orange Grove Rural Fire Protectian Districts. <br />10. A Special Service District Tax of'$.20 on the $100.00 of property valuation <br />on all properties within the Oaks and Briarcliff Service Districts. <br />11. On each open female dog (6) months of age or older a license costing $2.00 <br />shall be required. On all other dogs a license costing $1.00 shall be . <br />required. <br />12. In accordance with Section B of the Revenue Act (Article 2, Chapter 5, <br />of the General Statutes) and any other sections of the General Statutes <br />so permitting, there are hereby levied privilege license taxes in the <br />maximum amount permitted on all businesses, trades, occupations, or pro- <br />fessions. which the County is entitled to tax. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Richard E. Whitted, seconded by Commissioner <br />Henry S. Walker, it was moved and adopted that the 1974-1975 Appropriation Resolu- <br />t~.on and Tax Levy Resolution as presented by the County Administrator, setting <br />tax rate at sixty f60a) cents pet $100.00 assessed value and this special Chapel <br />Hill-Cartboro School District tax of twenty-five (25¢) cents on $100.00 property <br />valuation plus the special fire tax on the (7) seven fire protection Districts <br />plus the service district tax be approv ed. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Henry S. Walker; seconded by Commissioner Melvin <br />Whitfield, it was moved, that the 1974-1975, budget be amended to approve the <br />$1,500 for the Sediment Structure study as requested by the Orange-Alamance Water <br />Systems and that same be restored to the Utility Fund. <br />Chairman Walker called for a vote on the motion. Commissioners Norman <br />Walker, Henry S. Walker, and Melvin Whitfield voted aye. Commissioners Flora <br />Garrett and Richard 6. Whitted voted nay. Chairman Walker then declared the <br />motion passed. <br /> <br />
