~9~i <br />PRELIMINARY PLATS <br />A. Northwood Subdivision, Chapel Hill Township, dated June 3, 1974. <br />The County Planning Board recommends approval of said plat. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Henry 5. Walker, seconded by Commissioner Melvin <br />Whitfield, it was moved that the preliminary plat of Northwood Subdivision be <br />approved. <br />Chairman Walker called for a vote on the motion. Commissioners Henry 5. <br />Walker, Melvin Whitfield, Norman Walker, and Richazd E. Whitted voted aye. <br />Commissioner Flora Garrett voted nay. Chairman Walkex then declared the <br />~. motion passed. <br />S. Noxth Forest Hills, Section IV, property of T. M. Greene, Chapel Hill <br />Township, dated May 14, 1974. <br />The County Planning Board recommends approval of said plat. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Melvin Whitfield, seconded by Commissioner Richazd <br />E. Whitted, it was moved and unanimously adopted, that the preliminary plat of <br />North Forest Hills, Section IV be approved. <br />F1NAL PLAT <br />A. Wolfs Pond, Section V Revised, Property of Me1as Corporation, Chapel <br />Hill Township, dated November 13, 1973. <br />The County Planning Board recommends approval o£ said plat. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Flora Gazrett, seconded by Commissioner Henry <br />S. Walker, it was moved and unanimously adopted, that the final plat of Wolfs <br />.Pond Section V Revised be approved. <br />D:INOR PLATS <br />A. Plat of La11a Wilson Davis propexty dated October 22, 1973. <br />The County Planning Boazd recommends appxvval o£ said plat. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Richazd E. Whitted, seconded by Commissioner <br />Melvin Whitfield, it was moved and adopted, that the plat of Lalla Wilson Davis <br />be approved. <br />' B. Plat of Thomas & Evelyn French, Chapel Hill Township dated March 15, 1974. <br />Mr. Haithcock advised the Boazd that the plat as originally presented to the <br />Planning Board had been rejected by the Planning Board due to the lot size and <br />needed right of way had not been secured, however, the plat had been revised to <br />meet the recommendations of the Planning Boazd and that said plat had been <br />approved. <br />Upon motion of commissioner Henry S. Walker, seconded by Commissioner Melvin <br />Whitfield, it was moved and adopted, that the plat of Thomas & Evelyn French <br />be approved. <br />Chairman Walker referred the Board tv Item TT of the Agenda: (Appointments: <br />Carrborv Planning Board: Two vacancies have been exeated through the resigna- <br />tion of Mr. Billy Morgan and.Mr. Harold Williams). <br />The Chairman inquired if any member had names of individuals they wished <br />have considered for the Carrboro Planning Board. <br />Commissioner Flora Garrett stated that Patricia Evans (Mrs. Roger A.) lives <br />in, the Heritage Hills Subdivision on the Carxboro side. Commissionex Richard E. <br />whitted stated that Mazion Phillips lived in the azea. Discussion ensued. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Richard E. Whitted, seconded by Commissioner <br />Henry S. Walker, it was moved and adopted, that Patricia Bvans and Marion Phillips <br />be named as members of the Cazrboro Planning Board to Eill the vacancies of <br />Billy Morgan and Harold Williams. <br />Chairman Walker referred the Boazd to Item III of the Agenda: ( Consideration <br />of a resolution designating Alamance County as the Lead Agency for developing a <br />201 Facilities Plan in a small azea of Orange County near the Town of N.ebane). <br />The County Administration presented the following Resolution to the Boazd: <br />t <br />
