Listed below are the formulas we use <br />to assign teachers to our schools and the percentages we provide for local <br />supplements: <br />Teacher /Student Ratio: <br />• Elementary Schools — 1:21.5 <br />• Secondary Schools — 1:25 <br />Local Supplements <br />• Classified Staff — 5.5% of total salary <br />• Non - Tenured Certified Staff — 5% of total salary <br />• Certified Tenured Staff with less than ten years experience in Orange County <br />Schools —10% of total salary. <br />• Certified Tenured Staff and Associate Principals with 10 plus years <br />experience in Orange County Schools -12% of total salary. <br />• Directors and Coordinators 2 -5% of total salary <br />• Principals and Central Office Cabinet Members — Negotiated. <br />Please let me know if additional information is needed. <br />/ha <br />
