fJ <br />Alice Gordon <br />-2- May 3, 1999 <br />As a member of the School and Land Use Council, I am concerned about what we have <br />been discussing as the purpose of the group during our meetings. In my opinion, this <br />was a great opportunity to exercise co- location and the shared use of facilities. It <br />appears to me that the current process we are developing for the council creates <br />barriers in working together, as opposed to developing a process to promoting mutual <br />agreement and co- operation. In that I know we all want what is best for Orange County, <br />we clearly don't have a people problem, but rather a process problem. <br />Superintendent Bridges, Mike Parker, Susan Dovenbarger, Ray DeBruhl, and I will be <br />with the Commissioners on Tuesday night to share the site of our new high school.
