4 <br />(h} Maps, charts and data tables: as necessazy and appropriate. Detailed surveyed azea <br />maps should be included in the report (e.g., U.S.G.S Topograplc Map sections). However, <br />since the report may be distributed to the general public, detailed site locational maps should <br />not be included in the Final Project Report. The digital map of suspected and confirmed <br />azchaeological site and landscape feature locations along the comdor should be submitted as <br />a separate product. <br />[Note: All archaeological site references in the final report and data tables must employ official <br />State Archaeological Site number designations. Under this grant, the PI may obtain State <br />Archaeological Site numbers far newly recorded sites prior to submission of site forms by sending <br />a detailed location map (e.g., U.S.G.S. Topographic Map) for each site to the Office of State <br />Archaeology. See also sections 2{4) and 4 below.] <br />(3) Final Report. Following submission of the draft final report by the PI, the Division shall have <br />20 days to review the report and communicate all necessary or recommended changes to the PI <br />prior to preparation of the final project report. On or before September 22, 1999, the PI shall <br />submit five copies of the final report to the Division, at least vne of which must be unbound. <br />Three of the copies will be forwarded to the National Park Service by the Division. <br />[Note: The Final Project Report must be single-spaced and filly paginated.] <br />The Division retains all editorial, reproduction, publication, and distribution rights to the project <br />report. However, the Division shall not restrict the use of the project information by the Grantee <br />as long as any subsequent use of the report, documentation or results of the project include <br />appropriate recognition of the funding sources for the project. [See also Appendix C. Appendix <br />for Subgrant Agreements] <br />(4) Archaeological Site Forms: Upon completion of the project, the PI shall submit to the <br />Division copies of completed North Carolina Archaeological Site foams for each site recorded <br />during the project. In addition, the PI shall submit updates for previously recorded sites <br />investigated during the project. Site forms should be submitted separate from and not included in <br />the final report. <br />SECTION 3. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE GRANTEE: <br />The Grantee shall provide local administration and accounting of the grant and shall make available <br />to the PI copies of its relevant digital data files for use by the University of North Carolina at <br />Greensboro geography students for preparation of the digital map. <br />SECTION 4. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE DIVISION: <br />The Division shall make available to the PI any and all information currently available in its files <br />which may be pertinent to the effective completion of the project. The Division shall also provide <br />blank archaeological site forms for all sites identified during the project. <br />
