Approximately .13.,0.00 Orange County <br />residents are sixty years of age and older, with- this population projected. to increase to more than <br />14,000 by the turn of the century. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br />RECOMMENDATON(S): Manager recommends that the Commissioners designate May as Older <br />Americans Month and May 9 through 15 as Senior Center Week in Orange County. and authorize <br />Chair to sign proclamations. <br />FN:H~B000V0504.doc <br />
