Orange County Public Works <br />Roof Asset Management Program <br />Remedial Work -1999 <br />Preliminary Construction Cost Estimate <br />Based on information gathered for the Roof Asset Management Program it <br />appears that new roof systems can be developed for each building to include the <br />following provisions: <br />Whiffed Human Services <br />A. Removal of the existing built -up roof system including flashing and <br />accessories down to the deck. <br />B. Replacement of damaged or deteriorated wood blocking. New <br />blocking will be required at all roof areas to match the thickness of <br />new insulation. <br />C. Installation of new tapered polyisocyanurate board insulation. <br />Minimum thickness at low points to be 1.5 inch (R- 10.0). <br />D. Installation of a multiple ply modified bitumen membrane roof <br />system including all flashing and accessories. Systems include <br />those manufactured by Siplast, Soprema, TAMKO, and Firestone. <br />System to include manufacturer 20 -year No Dollar Limit Warranty. <br />Consideration may be given to other systems such as single ply <br />depending on budget refinement. <br />E. Installation of new 24 gauge prefrnished sheet metal flashing and <br />trim. <br />Based on cost information included in the Roof Asset Management Program a <br />preliminary construction cost estimate is as follows: <br />Building 1 <br />Sector 1 — 8,400 sq. ft. $ 78,400 <br />Sector 2 — 850 sq. ft. $ 7,900 <br />Sector 3 — 150 sq. ft. $ 1,400 <br />Subtotal Building 1 <br />&H <br />4 S <br />$ 87,700 <br />
