Assembling and organizing project close -out documents <br />Assistance Requested of Orange County Public Works <br />We request your assistance in performing the various tasks described herein as <br />follows: <br />A. Providing safe access to all roof areas of the facilities encompassed by <br />the scope of this work. Please notify us of any hazards that may be <br />encountered in performing the work. <br />B. Providing access to the interior of the facilities to allow examination of <br />interior conditions as they relate to the project. <br />C. Designating your authorized representative with whom we may <br />communicate with regarding to matters relating to the project. <br />D. Granting permission to take record and reference photographs. <br />E. Providing copies of drawings, specifications, reports, and records relative <br />to the project. <br />F. Providing. current copies of your General Conditions and any specific <br />forms to be included in the contract documents. <br />G. Granting permission to make and repair test cuts of the roof assembly. <br />Please note that test cuts will involve cutting through the roof membrane, <br />insulation and vapor retarder down to the roof deck for the purpose of <br />extracting samples and making observations. We will make repairs using <br />accepted roofing procedures and materials, however, due to anticipated <br />deterioration and the unknown physical condition of the existing materials, <br />we cannot assume responsibility for the watertight integrity of the roof <br />system nor any resulting damages. <br />&H <br />hVIOYE EASI _ <br />y� <br />
