RECOMMENDED REPAIR METHODS <br />BURA RR Re -roof Required Re- roofing recommended in lieu of repairs. <br />3.0 <br />BURA 8C Open Coping Joints <br />Remove cover plate. Clean and re -caulk all <br />metal surfaces adjacent to the joint. Replace <br />joint cover and re -caulk at edges. <br />BURA 9A Insufficient Repair <br />Spud away gravel and flood coat. Remove all <br />layers of deteriorated membrane. Replace <br />wet insulation as necessary. Replace <br />membrane with four layers of fiberglass felt <br />or one ply modified bitumen base sheet and <br />one ply modified bitumen cap sheet. Repair <br />membrane to extend at least six inches onto <br />sound membrane. Replace surfacing with <br />similar materials or aluminized coating. <br />BURA 9B Insufficient Flashing <br />Secure flashing as needed. Apply 3 courses <br />Height <br />of roof cement and felt to top edge of <br />flashing.
