Lawrence Road <br />Baptist Church is located across Lawrence Road. The Rock House, a <br />site listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is at the southwest <br />corner of US 70A and Lawrence Road. <br />• Adjacent zoning to the south is R-4; <br />• Adjacent zoning to the west is R -1 and R -2; <br />• Adjacent zoning to the north and east is R -1. <br />Proposed: Planned Development (PD) districts may be established for <br />specialized purposes where tracts suitable in location, area and character <br />for the use and structures proposed are to be planned and developed on a <br />unified basis. <br />PD -H -R3 is a low to medium density residential district with supporting <br />recreational, community service and educational uses in areas where <br />urban services are available or are to be provided as part of the <br />development process. This district will usually be applied where the <br />following conditions exist: <br />1. Designated by the adopted Comprehensive Plan as a Transition Area, <br />which can reasonably be expected to be annexed by a municipality in the <br />ensuing 10 -20 years; <br />2.
