Specific designated areas <br />for various age groups. <br />Personnel Su~,ervision <br />Two (three if Northern Orange approved) adult supervisors with recreational <br />~ backgrounds with one assigned to each school. A minimum of two student assistants <br />I. (boys and girls as student assiatanta) tv each school area. Rfaing high school <br />seniors or college students to be used as student assistants. Student assistants <br />and supervisors should be interchangeable at schools. <br />One qualified arts and crafts supervisor to work in that field at all recreational <br />locations. <br />Times.gf Programs <br />A minimum program of seven hours per day. Suggested times 9 AM - 4 PM or 10 AM - <br />5 PM. <br />Program Needs and Implications <br />All activities are to contribute to the development of the child with a direct carry <br />over of the educational system established during the regular nine months term. All <br />activities and equipment.must be made safe. For fullest development, all <br />recreational activities should include some form of balancing, bouncing, catching, <br />throwing, climbing, 3umning, kicking, and running. Aa the participants ages <br />become older, a higher degree of competitive activities will be included in the <br />program.
