~~l <br />Chairman Walker sdvised the Board that Tom Ward, Social Servic©s Director, <br />had not been placed on the Agenda, however, if it was agreeabl® to tY!e Svard he <br />would allow Mr. Ward to make a presentation. Mr, Ward stated tT1at the State <br />IIoard of Social Services required, by General Statute, that a tentative County <br />Social Services Budget be submitted prior to May 15, 197l~, Discussion ensued <br />concerning the estimated coat of certain budget items. Mr, Ward explained that <br />some items would be decreased due to Fad®ral Legislative assistance and that other <br />items would be increased due to Legislative enactments.
