3 System Wide Spanish Teachers
Several years ago we taught Spanish in our K-5 schools. Due, to budget cuts over the
years, this opportunity was eliminated. We conducted a system wide survey last
Spring for parents, teachers, and students. The leading request from parents was to
bring back the teaching of Spanish in our K-5 schools. This will not.only meet the
request of our number one customer, but will connect to the middle/high school
Spanish instructional program.
$143,727
1 Pre-K Teacher
We currently have no structured program for our students prior to their entering
kindergarten. We have learned that the earlier we are able to have some educational
interaction with students, the greater their chances are for being academically
successful. This position would be the beginning of adding a class each year until all
K-5 schools have a class.
$ 47,909
The number of students requiring special services is steadily increasing. In order to
successfully meet the needs of our students and create an environment for maximizing
the abilities of our teachers, current overcrowded conditions must be addressed.
These positions will go a long way in solving this problem.
1 Teacher for students with disabilities CWS $ 47,909
1 Teacher for students with disabilities ALS $ 47,909
1 Physical Therapist Assistant $ 47,909
1 School Base Chair $ 47,909
1 AG Teacher (1/2 C.P.; V2N.H.)
Last year school systems across the state were asked to develop new AG Plans for our
students. We successfully completed a very well designed plan. This position would
provide additional services to our two largest elementary schools where the number of
students exceeds the offering ofone full time teacher.
1/2 AG Gifted Coordinator (OHS)
Our AG Plan also recommends additional services for the high school.
would address that need.
$ 47,909
This position
$ 23,955
-21 --T
