This program will teach you how to recognize unsafe <br />situations before they occur and develop crisis intervention skills. <br />Enrollment is limited to 20 employees. <br />Kathy Glassock and Oliver Melvin are the instructors. <br />CPR - Initial certificati ®n & <br />Re- Certificati ®n <br />This course teaches the lifesaving skills of CPR and reviews the <br />signs and symptoms of heart attacks and the risk factors <br />associated with heart disease. A practical test is included as part <br />of the certification process. <br />The re- certification course is for those employees wishing to <br />update and practice their CPR skills. CPR certification can now <br />be renewed every two years. Find out what the EAP can <br />do for you, when to call them and how to access this important resource. <br />During these brown bag lunchtime seminars you will learn about all the <br />services offered by the EAP as well as warning signs and signals of <br />stress and depression. <br />Anne Robertson, EAP Representative, is the instructor. <br />Ain't Misbehaving? <br />Do you have teenagers at home or work with them during the day? <br />Using Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) program <br />techniques, this lunchtime workshop will help you identify the goals of <br />a teen's misbehavior.
