Health & Wellness <br />Workplace Violence Prevention Training: <br />C +� <br />This staff safety training is designed to help employees learn skills and <br />techniques in order to be safer in the workplace. <br />Topics include: <br />• M:inimbing Risks <br />• <br />Office Practices and Procedures for Safety <br />® General Prevention Guidelines <br />® Assessing the Potential for Violence <br />® Orange County's Policy and Guidelines on Workplace Violence <br />Prevention <br />Enrollment is limited to 15 employees. <br />This training is mandatory for all county employees and will be <br />offered on a continuing basis throughout the year. <br />Instructors will be County employees trained in Workplace Violence <br />Prevention. <br />Fire Extinguisher Training <br />Participants in this session will learn about the importance and use of <br />fire extinguishers through classroom information and practical <br />exercises. At least one employee from each department or work area is <br />encouraged to attend. <br />Enrollment is limited to 15 participants. <br />EMS Staff will be the instructors. <br />IVoonliting: <br />If you are interested in losing. weight, or just learning how to eat <br />healthier, then you may be interested in Noonliting. Topics include <br />using the food guide pyramid, calorie hints, food preparation to trim the <br />fat, snacking lite and eating out. <br />There is a one time enrollment fee of $10 plus an additional $11 in <br />fees for the kitty. Kitty money is shared among participants who <br />meet their weight loss goal.
