Resolution of Intent to Adopt the 1999-00 <br /> Orange County Budget <br /> June 15, 1999 <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has considered the Orange County 1999-00 <br /> Manager's Recommended Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioners have agreed on certain modifications to the Manager's Recommended <br /> Budget; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orange County Board of Commissioners expresses its intent <br /> to adopt the 1999-00 Orange County Budget Ordinance on Monday, June 21, 1999, based on the following <br /> stipulations: <br /> 1) The following new positions are approved: <br /> • OPT Receptionist(Orange Public Transportation) 1.00 FTE <br /> • Healthy Carolinians Coordinator(Health Department) 1.00 FTE <br /> • Healthy Carolinians Project Manager(Health Department) 1.00 FTE <br /> • Civil Rights Specialist(Human Rights and Relations) 1.00 FTE <br /> • EMT Paramedic (Emergency Medical Services) 3.00 FTE <br /> • Custodian(Public Works) 1.00 FTE <br /> • GIS Technician - 2 year time limited(Planning) 1.00 FTE <br /> 2) The following partially grant funded positions are approved to be funded 100% from the General <br /> Fund: <br /> • Social Worker U(Sheriffs Department) formerly funded in the <br /> Domestic Violence Grant Project Program 2.50 FTE <br /> • Deputy Sheriff I(Sheriffs Department)formerly funded in the <br /> COPSFAST Grant Project 3.00 FTE <br /> 3) The following time-limited positions are approved as permanent positions: <br /> • Child Support Officer/Location Specialist <br /> (Child Support Enforcement) 1.00 FTE <br /> • Civil Rights Specialist(Human Rights and Relations) 1.00 FTE <br /> • Child Protective Services Social Worker(DSS) 2.00 FTE <br /> • Telecommunicator I(EMS) 2.00 FTE <br /> • Shaping Orange County's Future Project Planner(ERCD) 1.00 FTE <br />
