QF <br />( ) HAWN NU RIGHTS & RELATs,'FaC <br />SUBJECT: TAG #59: FUNDING OF FY'98 COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS <br />Enclosed is one copy of the 1998/9 Cooperative Agreement package for your files. Also <br />enclosed are five (5) copies of the Form HUD 1044 for your original signature. Included in the <br />Attachments at Attachment C are five (5) copies OMB Standard Assurances - SF 4248, Drug Free <br />Certification which should also be signed. Retain one copy for your records, and return the <br />remaining four. You may also retain the remaining Attachments to the Cooperative Agreement <br />package, however, the Form HUD 1044 and Attachment C should be returned to this office by <br />EXPRESS MAIL to: <br />Gregory Bernard King, Hub Director <br />U. W. <br />Atlanta, GA 30303 -3388 <br />In our efforts to obligate funds before the end of this fiscal year, this agreement covers <br />funding for CASE PROCESSING and TRAINING (Agency/HUD S2gnsored). Your lump sum <br />Cooperative Agreement amount either includes $15,000.00 or $20,000.00 for training depending <br />upon the number of employees you identified as being trained, i.e., 3 -6 or 7 -10. <br />As you will note, this year's funding principles include funds for Training, Administrativemst <br />and Special Enforcement Efforts. Eligibility for these funds require documentation from the <br />agencies to establish the level of funding. Therefore, this Cooperative Agreement will be amended <br />to include new 1998 /9 funding for Administrative Costs and Special Enforcement Efforts funding. <br />Training funds have been included in the enclosed Agreement, however, documentation for all <br />training will be necessary in order for the payment to be approved. Capacity Building agencies are <br />not eligible for the aforementioned funds. <br />
