S-.1 Description — Describe, in detail, the service delivery impact of the <br /> proposed reduction/change. <br /> This increase will allow the agency to continue to provide necessary services for <br /> DSS children who have been adopted. <br /> Department Social Services —4050 Subsidy <br /> 10405020 768000 Psychological <br /> S-1 Proposal (Provide a brief description of the service change) <br /> The amount of funding for psychological evaluations will be reduced by 10% per <br /> budget directives. Outside psychological evaluations for parents involved with <br /> Child Protective Services will be reduced. These are frequently court-ordered. A <br /> contract for clinical support will also be eliminated. <br /> S-1 Fiscal Impact (This number should correspond to the amount included <br /> on the department's budget request excel spreadsheet) <br /> ($3,600) ($43,000 of this line item is Smart Start funded.) <br /> S-1 Description -- Describe, in detail, the service delivery impact of the <br /> proposed reduction/change. <br /> Due to the reduction, the county will be'able to provide fewer psychological <br /> evaluations for parents involved with CPS. This can be a barrier to: returning <br /> children to their families; confirming that reduced mental capacity or instability is <br /> an issue for a family potentially resulting in leaving vulnerable children in an <br /> unsafe environment; and confirming that reduced mental capacity or instability is <br /> so significant that children cannot be safely returned home. <br /> Department Social Services —4050 Subsidy <br /> 10405020 768100 County Social Services <br /> S-1 Proposal (Provide a brief description of the service change) <br /> The amount of funding for handling unclaimed bodies will be reduced by 10% per <br /> budget directives.
