It is estimated that the number of clients that can be served by the <br /> program will decrease by 2. <br /> S-3 Proposal (Provide a brief description of the service change) <br /> The two contracts for financial counseling, one with Harvey Reid and the other <br /> with the Women's Center, will be eliminated and those services will be brought <br /> in-house. These contracts provide financial education and counseling to families <br /> receiving emergency assistance and Work First. They also introduce families to <br /> methods of record keeping and assist families with developing solutions to <br /> financial crises. <br /> S-3 Fiscal Impact (This number should correspond to the amount included <br /> on the department's budget request excel spreadsheet) <br /> ($25,675) <br /> S-3 Description — Describe, in detail, the service delivery, impact of the <br /> proposed reduction/change. <br /> Due to the elimination of these contracts, fewer financial counseling services will <br /> be available,to clients. Social Workers within the agency will provide some <br /> degree of financial counseling services but the agency will no longer have <br /> someone doing this full-time. This may result in the loss of financial counseling <br /> services for approximately 567 Orange County residents. <br /> S-4 Proposal (Provide a brief description of the service change) <br /> The contract for the Fatherhood Program with Harvey Reid will be reduced from <br /> $25,000 to $15,000.
