Brown <br />DATE: June 21, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: Goal on Affordable Housing <br />I offer the following recommendations for this goal: <br />To include and insert in all the headings that the goal include the need to find long term <br />affordability <br />To instruct the County Attorney and Housing and Community Development Director to <br />prepare a report, during the summer, to include the following items: <br />® a process for evaluating affordable housing projects in terms of how they have <br />achieved, for past projects, long term affordability <br />® criteria which can be used. by the County Commissioners in evaluating <br />applications for sustaining long term affordability for new projects to include the <br />following: <br />® list of outcomes for accomplishing long term affordability <br />® list of outcomes expected from land trust and how land trusts impact long <br />term affordability <br />
