Our mission is women's equity and <br />empowerment; we serve the faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars and students at UNC. <br />Prior to this position, I taught at the University of Rhode Island in Women's Studies and <br />in English for 10 years. During Fall 2003, I taught in Finland as a Fulbright Scholar. Prior <br />to graduate school, I worked at the Thomas G. Faria Corporation, a manufacturing <br />company, in a number of roles, including Executive Assistant to the CEO, Credit <br />Supervisor, and Credit Manager. <br />Volunteer Experience: <br />I am a member of the North Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force, the MAGIC <br />Advisory Board at The Women's Center of Chapel Hill, and the SART (Sexual Assault <br />Response Team) coordinated by the Orange County Rape Crisis Center.
