Our mission is women's equity and empowerment; we serve the faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars and students at UNC. Prior to this position, I taught at the University of Rhode Island in Women's Studies and in English for 10 years. During Fall 2003, I taught in Finland as a Fulbright Scholar. Prior to graduate school, I worked at the Thomas G. Faria Corporation, a manufacturing company, in a number of roles, including Executive Assistant to the CEO, Credit Supervisor, and Credit Manager. Volunteer Experience: I am a member of the North Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force, the MAGIC Advisory Board at The Women's Center of Chapel Hill, and the SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) coordinated by the Orange County Rape Crisis Center. In Rhode Island, I was an active member of the Washington County NOW chapter.
