Both were members of <br /> the original HPC from the 1990s and have an understanding of the history of the HPC, <br /> its mission, and its work on previous projects. Mr. Allison brings his considerable <br /> knowledge of local history to the commission. Mr. Dickinson is the President of <br /> Dickinson Restorations, Inc., a contracting firm specializing in preservation and <br /> restoration and will bring his considerable knowledge of architectural history and <br /> historic building technology to the commission. Both have maintained good attendance <br /> records (see enclosure), and have agreed to serve second terms. <br /> Please convey this to the Board of Commissioners for their consideration in March, to <br /> prevent any gaps in our membership. The HPC will continue its recruitment efforts to <br /> bring in new candidates who meet the Certified Local Government criteria. <br />
