Hinkley, Zoning Officer, Orange County, North Carolina, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY THAT: <br />On or about August 6, 1999, I sent by Certified Mail, postage prepaid, a Notice <br />of the Public Hearing to be held on Monday, August 23, 1999, at 7:30 pm in the <br />F. Gordon Battle Courtroom of the New County Courthouse at 106 E. Margaret <br />Street in Hillsborough, North Carolina, for the purpose of providing all interested <br />citizens an opportunity to speak for or against a proposal by Johnny C. Cates to <br />amend the County Zoning Atlas by rezoning 2.8 acres of his 5.18 -acre property <br />at 3102 West Ten Road (SR 1144), approximately 2,200 feet east of the Mt. <br />Willing Road interchange with I- 40/85, in Cheeks Township (Tax Map No. <br />3.45..11C) from AR Agricultural- Residential to AS Agricultural Service. The <br />notice was sent to five property owners who hold title to six parcels lying within <br />500 feet of the Cates property.
