I believe having someone in a funded <br />position to coordinate this essential service will make it happen. A developmental <br />screening clinic will help to identify children and families at a much earlier age, when <br />services can truly make a positive difference. <br />I understand that this position, if funded, will also coordinate many public <br />awareness activities. These activities are needed to help Orange county residents to learn <br />of all of the valuable services and supports which are available. Again this coordinated <br />public awareness effort is an essential and very needed aspect of Orange county's <br />wonderful array of services for young children and their families. <br />We sincerely hope that your proposal will be fully funded.
