As presented in during CIP discussions with the CHCCS staff over the past year, a portion of the funding for <br />Culbreth and Phillips renovations projects comes from savings from the Scroggs Elementary School <br />construction project. The scope of the renovation work is relatively small and will be completed in-house. <br />School officials wish to purchase technology, lab and other equipment as early in the school year as possible <br />so that students have maximum benefit of new equipment. The attached capital project ordinances provide <br />for the funding outlined in the chart above. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Financial impacts are included in the background information above. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />The Manager recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the budget ordinance <br />amendments and capital project ordinances. <br />
